We live in a time when many people are searching for God. Some people look within themselves, and some look to others for answers. People often wonder who God is and why He does what He does.

The best place to find God is in the Bible where He has given us a clear picture of Himself.

For example, in the book of Isaiah, God is described in this way:

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been declared to you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is He who sits above the vault of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, who stretches out the heavens like a curtain and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in." Isaiah 40:21,22 NASB These verses describe God's greatness.

God has no equal. He is not a force, but a being. He asks, " 'To whom then will you liken Me that I should be his equal?' says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these stars, the One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power not one of them is missing." Isaiah 40:25, 26 NASB

God is strong. God can and will meet your needs. He asks that you trust Him, believe that what He says is true, and actively receive what He promises in the Bible.
